The B&R Automation 7CX436.50-1 is an excellent pneumatic cylinder produced according to the line of System 2003 Controllers.
With a bore of 50 mm and a stroke of 300 mm, this cylinder is capable of high and reliable actuation performance across a large stroke. The rod is a 20-mm diameter rod made of chrome-plated steel material that is more durable and corrosion-resistant. The 7CX436.50-1 is a profiled cylinder with a detachable foot mounted, built to ISO 15552, and thus it is easy to install and fit into common industrial accessories like cushion needle valves and adjustable rotation of the head and cap parts. Its mounting style is foot mount, and therefore will have a secure attachment and stability in the course of its operation. This cylinder has a pressure of 1.0-10 bar, which makes it applicable both in low-pressure and high-pressure pneumatic systems. It can handle motion cycles that are fast and responsive, as it supports a maximum speed of up to 1 m/s. The pneumatic cushioning system is adjustable to provide fine-tuned deceleration to stroke ends to limit impact and wear.
The cylinder is made of a lightweight, sturdy aluminum alloy barrel and end caps, providing high service life with a low overall weight. These seals are Nitrile Rubber (NBR), which are reliable and chemically resistant. The port size itself is G 1/4 (BSPP), a standard more commonly used in pneumatic connections, so the device can be easily added to the existing ones.
