The StepSyn Stepping Motors series includes many motors for different industry needs.
Their frame sizes go from a small 35 mm square up to a big 86 mm square. These motors offer holding torques, starting at 0.195 Nm and going up to 9 Nm for larger ones, it seems. Because of this, they can be used for either low-power or high-power jobs. Each motor uses either a 0.9° or 1.8° step angle. So, you can control movement precisely, which is a demand when accuracy is important. You can pick unipolar or bipolar winding types to fit different electrical setups and how you want the motor to work. What makes the series special involves adding encoder choices for better position accuracy. These encoders come in different styles, giving resolutions from 200 CPR to 1024 CPR, depending on what you pick. This includes two and three channel incremental designs. They can work in temperatures from -10°C to +50°C (or +40°C for the biggest models) and with humidity from 20% to 90% without water forming. Also, they can be stored in temperatures between -20°C and +60°C. These motors resist vibration, been tested with 10 to 500 Hz frequencies, so that's something. Also, insulation types go from B (+130°C) to F (+155°C), depending on motor size. The StepSyn series has rotor inertia from 0.025 to 4.5 × 10⁻⁴ kg·m² and weights from 0.2 kg to 4 kg and can be trusted for precise motion control in industries.
