It converts timed pulse signals from a drive into incremental shaft motion, allowing machinery to index, clamp, or dispense with repeatable accuracy. Because the motor holds each commanded position without sensors, it is suited for compact pick-and-place modules, small conveyors, and tabletop robotics where closed-loop feedback is unnecessary.
A phase current of 1.5 A per phase is the maximum continuous winding excitation that the power stage must supply. When fully energized, the stator develops a holding torque of 1.568 N·m, which helps maintain the load position between command pulses. Each full step advances the shaft by 0.72° per step, providing fine incremental control.
