The 5PP120.1505-K04 is an operator interface panel manufactured by B&R Automation for the 5PP Power Panels series. It unites visualization, machine command, and computing resources in one slab-style module so it can be embedded directly on packaging machines, conveyors, or assembly stations. By providing a built-in controller with graphical feedback, the device streamlines startup, recipe changes, and diagnostics inside discrete and process-oriented automation cells.
The front layer is dominated by a 15 in panel that uses a Color TFT matrix to reproduce process graphics with an XGA resolution. This combination delivers good contrast and viewing angles, supporting clear status displays on crowded factory floors. The viewing surface has an IP65 front rating, so sprayed water or airborne dust cannot reach internal boards during washdown or cutting applications. Ethernet connectivity is provided through a 10/100 port, allowing data exchange with controllers and supervisory networks. Two USB host sockets make it possible to attach service keyboards or log data to removable drives, and the rigid metal housing shields the display electronics from vibration and electromagnetic exposure common in motor cabinets.
