This unit combines a touch display, controller resources, and field wiring interfaces into a single front-mount device that functions as the human-machine interface in automated cells, packaging lines, and material-handling equipment. By embedding visualization and control at the machine door, it reduces the need for separate cabinet-mounted input hardware and keeps routine machine interaction close to the process.

The panel operates from a 24 VDC supply, allowing direct connection to common control-cabinet power rails without additional converters. Visual output is generated on a TFT color screen, providing clear contrast for status graphics and alarms. The active image area spans 10.4 in, which fits standard machine doors while still offering adequate space for multi-window process views. User input is captured through an analog resistive touchscreen, so commands can be entered even when gloves are worn or light surface moisture is present. For supervisory exchange and remote access, the integrated Ethernet port supports 10/100 Mbit data rates, enabling connection with controllers, SCADA servers, or computers over standard twisted-pair cabling.

In addition to the Ethernet channel, a RS232 serial interface remains available for legacy drives, barcode scanners, or simple point-to-point diagnostics. Application data and recipe files are stored on CompactFlash Type I media, which can be removed for transfer or backup without opening the housing. Two front-accessible USB receptacles support removable storage devices and common input peripherals. A total of 2 USB ports allows simultaneous connection of a keyboard and a backup drive during setup.
