Slotted into a controller chassis, this DVD-ROM/CD-RW module gives a machining center convenient local media access for loading G-code files, saving diagnostic logs, and installing control firmware without a network connection. Slide-in mounting lets the drive be replaced from the front panel without disturbing neighboring I/O cards.
