Product Description:
The 5AC725.FLGC-00 add-on module is manufactured by B & R Automation and belongs to the 5AC CNC Addon Modules series. Designed as a mechanical interface element, it attaches operator panels or pendant housings to machine frames in CNC cells. By linking to the AP5000 platform through the PPC725 control device, the module provides a standardized mounting and cable-routing point. This arrangement lets the control hardware and panel support hardware remain aligned at the mounting location. It also allows human-machine interfaces to be positioned on swing arms without custom fabrication.
The enclosure dimensions are 90 mm in width, 81 mm in height, and 71 mm in depth. These compact dimensions allow the module to fit within narrow machine casings while still leaving clearance for swivel movement. The shallow housing also helps when the assembly is installed near guards, covers, or adjacent support members. A mass of 1,100 g provides enough structural stiffness to support attached operator panels without overloading swing-arm bearings. The body is formed from zinc die-cast, which offers high torsional rigidity and helps move heat away from internal wiring glands.
The external surface carries a RAL 7024 powder coating that matches the standard dark gray color of AP5000 panel housings and protects the metal from corrosion in humid shop environments. The coating also provides a durable finish for routine exposure to contact and handling in industrial settings. Connection to the machine column uses a Rittal-pattern flange, and the module is supplied for swing arm installation so the HMI can be aligned horizontally or vertically without extra brackets. Integrated metric inserts provide an M6 thread size for secure fastening of the PPC725 computer. They also provide grounding continuity between connected components.
