The 5AC800.EXT1-00 is an add-on operator module produced by B&R Automation for the 5AC CNC Addon Modules series. It attaches to the main 5AC control to supply a dedicated keyboard, status LEDs, and a front-access USB interface, allowing expanded local human-machine interaction without altering the primary controller enclosure. Within an industrial automation cell, this module provides direct data entry and removable-media support next to the machining axis, which simplifies program updates and diagnostic access.
The ADC12 aluminum housing is sealed to an IP65 rating, so the electronics remain protected when coolant spray or airborne chips are present. Its panel footprint measures 426 mm in width, 146.8 mm in height, and 34.9 mm in depth, which helps it fit crowded pendant faces. The assembly draws a maximum of 4 W, allowing it to share an existing 24 VDC supply without requiring an additional power rail.
