The B & R Automation 5ACPCE.ETH1-00 is an add-on module with the Ethernet POWERLINK (EPL). This add-on module is compact and highly reliable. It belongs to the 5AC family of CNC Addon Modules, and its special features are intended to improve industrial communication by rapid and continuous exchange of data. The module features an RJ45 Ethernet connector for straightforward integration into automation systems and supports DIN rail mounting for quick and secure installation. It is powered by 24 V DC through the backplane and is very energy efficient with a maximum power draw of 2 watts.
The 5ACPCE.ETH1-00 has been designed to operate in industrial conditions, and can operate within an operating temperature range between 0 degrees C to +55 degrees C, and can be safely stored in temperatures ranging between -25 degrees C and +70 degrees C.
