The 5AC804.MFLT-00 add-on module is produced by B&R Automation within the 5AC CNC Addon Modules series. It expands a CNC control cabinet by providing protected low-voltage distribution to auxiliary sensors, actuators, and logic boards, allowing a central supply to be shared without adding separate terminal rows for every branch. The component mounts directly on a DIN rail and relies on upstream fuses for branch protection, which helps keep auxiliary wiring organized and concentrates several secondary feeds in one compact enclosure.
Its electrical rating is 24 VDC at a continuous load of 8 A, making the module suitable for modest inductive or resistive branches in a machine-tool environment. Mechanical integration is simplified by a front profile that measures 54 mm wide, 32.15 mm deep, and 94 mm long, so the unit can fit neatly beside other modular control hardware without taking excessive panel space. The enclosure uses galvanized steel plate to shield the internal traces from electromagnetic noise, and the circuitry is suitable for Overvoltage Category II connections supplied from local distribution circuits.
