B&R 5MMDDR.2048-03 CNC Module combines compact SO-DIMM DDR3 memory, 2GB of RAM and robust environmental tolerance. This module can function effectively in extreme humidity and a wide temperature range which makes it ideal for high-performance automation in coastal, humid or space constrained manufacturing setups.
The 5MMDDR.2048-03 module employs high speed third generation double data rate memory capable of transferring data at 1600 million cycles per second which ensures rapid communication between the CPU and memory. It conforms to EN 61131-2, Degree 2 which makes it suitable for installation in industrial enclosures where pollution is limited but not entirely absent. Its memory sticks connect through a dense array of 204 tiny metal leads, which plug into a specialized slot on the module’s motherboard which allows for secure electrical contact, optimized data transfer rates and stable mechanical installation. It meets safety and performance standards required in various global markets such as CE and UKCA affirm compliance with European and UK legislation, and UL and KR to standards required by North American and Korean maritime respectively. It is built to resist moderate mechanical movement as it can tolerate vibrations up to 0.7 times the force of gravity and it is equipped with 2 gigabytes of volatile memory storage.
