The Beckhoff C9 PC Accessories series is a group of accessory modules for Beckhoff Industrial PCs and control panels that adds operator controls and power-fail support.
The accessories include compact push-button extensions mounted below 15.6-inch, 18.5-inch, 21.5-inch, and 24-inch control panels and panel PCs, as well as decentralized IP65 EtherCAT button modules for direct installation on the machine. Depending on the model, these accessories provide illuminated push-buttons, emergency-stop functions, short-stroke keys or exchangeable bezels, with signal handling through USB, 19-pin round connectors, EtherCAT, and M12 screw connections. The power-backup portion of the series is designed for 24 VDC Beckhoff IPCs and uses the C2000BAT UPS control board with 18 V battery packs in 0.6 Ah, 1.8 Ah, or 2.5 Ah versions to maintain operation temporarily after mains failure. Taken together, the series is intended to extend Beckhoff PC-based systems with integrated operator hardware, decentralized machine-side control inputs, and buffered power for controlled shutdown or short-term continued operation.
