Product Description:
The C9900-P223 is an accessory power supply developed by Beckhoff for the C9 PC Accessories series. It generates regulated low-voltage rails for Beckhoff industrial PCs and their peripheral logic in automated lines. By housing the supply inside the PC, the design reduces external wiring and keeps the power section contained within the machine enclosure. This arrangement keeps the power conversion stage close to the electronics it supports, which can simplify internal cable routing and reduce the number of separate power components in the cabinet. The small enclosure uses the plug-in mounting pattern common to the series, so it fits into compatible PC assemblies without requiring a separate external supply.
The electrical interface uses an 8-pole input plug that matches a 16 A upstream circuit breaker and a 16 A fuse. Under nominal mains conditions, the supply draws 15 A and converts it into three isolated outputs of +5 V/20 A; +12 V/5 A; +5 VSB/1 A, so logic circuits, auxiliary electronics, and standby functions can be powered from one module. Continuous power capability reaches 150 W, which helps the unit support fully loaded rails inside a compact PC chassis. All load conductors leave the module through the MOLEX-34045-1613 connector, and the rectangular enclosure measures 50 × 25 × 104 mm for compact installation in shallow housings.
The internal structure withstands shocks of 5 G, 30 ms without losing regulation, and the conformal-coated electronics tolerate up to 95%, non-condensing humidity in factory environments. Field conductors up to 1.5 mm² can be landed in the spring terminals, matching the cable cross-section used at the input connection. Despite its rugged build, the module weighs only 120 g, which keeps added load low inside PC frames and card cages. In idle operation, it presents a small power-status load so system diagnostics can remain energized while startup demand is absorbed by available current headroom during power-up.
