The C9900-P215 is a PC power-supply module produced by Beckhoff for the C9 PC Accessories series. It is intended to sit inside a control cabinet and deliver the regulated voltages an industrial Beckhoff computer needs while drawing power from the plant’s 24 V DC bus. This arrangement keeps the automation PC independent of the facility’s AC mains and allows the controller to ride through short supply dips without a separate uninterruptible power source.
The supply accepts a nominal input of 24 V DC and can draw up to 15 A during full load conditions. Internally it converts that energy into a continuous output capability of 250 W. Current is distributed across several rails, including 14 A on the +5 V rail for logic circuitry, 12 A on the +12 V rail for disk motors and fans, and 12 A on the +3.3 V rail that services chipsets and memory. A 1.5 A +5 V SB standby line keeps system management active when the main outputs are disabled, and the module’s status monitoring channel draws only 0.5 A so control electronics can verify power integrity without introducing notable load.
Negative rails supply lighter ancillary loads, limited to 0.5 A on the −12 V rail and 0.3 A on the −5 V rail. Environmental endurance is demonstrated by operation up to 95 % RH without condensation, supporting cabinet installations in humid production areas. The housing measures 44.0 mm in height, 97.0 mm in width, and 204.9 mm in depth, enabling 1U rack placement beside other automation devices. Overall mass is held to 0.85 kg, so mounting brackets and DIN rails experience minimal additional load.
