The C9900-B326 is a Beckhoff motherboard supplied within the C9 PC Accessories series for industrial control PCs. As the main logic board, it provides processor, memory, and I/O interfaces so that Beckhoff automation systems can run real-time operating environments and fieldbus communication software. This board is mounted inside C9 control units to coordinate machine sequence control, HMI tasks, and data handling functions in plant-floor installations. Its component layout is optimized for long-term availability and the extended temperature endurance demanded in automation cabinets.
The board is based on the Intel 82845GV chipset, which drives the front-side bus and memory controller and accepts a Socket 478 processor. It accommodates Pentium 4 or Celeron CPUs up to 3.06 GHz, giving adequate compute performance for PLC logic and visualization tasks. Two 184-pin DIMM sockets accept DDR266/333 SDRAM, and the design supports a total capacity of 2 GB, allowing moderate data buffering for recipe storage and logging. Integrated Intel 845GV graphics provide VGA output without an external card, while a dedicated AGP slot (ADD-only) is available for separate display adapters when hardware acceleration or dual-monitor support is required.
Network communication relies on the Intel 82562ET controller, which provides a 10/100Base-TX interface for deterministic data exchange with supervisory computers or EtherCAT gateways. On-board I/O includes 6 x USB 2.0 connectors for service keys and operator panels, along with four serial ports for legacy devices such as barcode scanners.
