Product Description:
The C9900-K622 extension kit is produced by Beckhoff within the C9 PC Accessories series. It is supplied as a matched data and video harness intended to link Beckhoff control panels and embedded PCs to peripheral equipment inside an automation cabinet. By combining the required USB and DVI leads in a single assembly, the kit minimizes installation effort, maintains signal quality, and supports operator interface functions essential for industrial machines and process stations.
The data segment of the harness measures 1.00 m from connector to connector and terminates in a USB A plug on the controller side and a USB B receptacle at the panel. Operation follows the USB 3.0 standard, enabling SuperSpeed transfer while remaining backward compatible with slower devices. The conductor design is 2 x 2 x AWG28 + 1 x 2 AWG28 + 1 x 2 x AWG24, which separates differential pairs and power leads to reduce crosstalk. The data channel is rated for up to 30 V of insulation voltage and uses a 9-pin contact layout that matches the internal pin map of USB 3.0 connectors. The cable is suitable for short-run peripheral coupling inside closed control enclosures where electromagnetic exposure is moderate.
The video branch also spans 1.00 m and uses the DVI-D digital interface for pixel-clocked display signals. Contact resistance remains below 30 mΩ, and dielectric strength reaches 500 V to help prevent breakdown between adjacent conductors. The plug set is configured as male-to-male with captive screw fasteners that help secure the connection against vibration. Signal routing uses an 18 + 1-pin pattern dedicated to digital data, and the line can carry up to 1.5 A at 40 V AC without exceeding temperature limits. This arrangement supports high-resolution video transmission between the automation PC and its control panel in cabinet installations where stable routing and compact cable runs are required.
