Product Description:
The C9900-K626 is an interface accessory produced by Beckhoff as part of the C9 PC Accessories series. Designed for machine-mounted operator terminals, the unit extends both DVI video and USB 2.0 control signals between a Beckhoff Industrial PC and a compatible Control Panel. By relocating these low-voltage links to a single extender assembly, it supports reliable panel installation on moving arms or external enclosures without exposing the PC to vibration or contaminants often found on the machine front end.
The extender section is DIN rail mounted inside the cabinet and functions as a USB 2.0 extender transmitter. A front-facing DVI-D, 18+1-pin port accepts the panel video line, while the local peripheral cord uses a USB-A to USB-B, 4-pin plug set. A short service cable of 1.00 m connects the transmitter to the PC, and its conductors follow a 1 x 2 x AWG28 + 2C AWG20 geometry that helps keep voltage drop low during signaling. Data moves through the link at 480 Mbit/s, which matches the maximum rate for USB 2.0, so touchscreens, storage devices, and pointing devices can operate without reduced bandwidth. The patch lead is rated for 30 V to remain within the extra-low-voltage range.
From the transmitter, the combined USB and DVI signals are carried over a factory-terminated trunk with a maximum connection length of 20.00 m. The video portion uses a separate shielded cable of the same length and supports up to 40 V AC on the differential pairs, which helps protect the display path against induced noise. USB traffic is routed through a twisted-pair RJ45, 8-pin link built on Cat. 5 media, and this segment uses conductors with a 0.14 mm² (AWG26) cross-section to balance flexibility and signal integrity. The extender set mates directly with Beckhoff CP29xx-0000, CPX29xx-0000, and CP69xx-xxxx-0010 panels, which simplifies panel connection.
