Product Description:
The C9900-K528 is a shielded interface cable produced by Beckhoff within the C9 PC Accessories series. It is intended for connecting industrial PCs to remote displays or operator panels inside machine control cabinets, transferring high-frequency digital video data while separating noisy power wiring from sensitive signal circuits. By supplying a prefabricated assembly with matched impedance and mechanical strain relief, Beckhoff reduces on-site termination errors and helps maintain stable picture quality in automated packaging lines, material-handling cells, and other continuous-duty applications.
With a length of 10.00 m, the cable can span between a panel PC and a distant monitor without intermediate couplers. The core bundle consists of 14 x AWG24 tinned-copper conductors, a geometry that balances flexibility with low DC resistance for high-frequency video signaling. Its insulation system withstands up to 500 V of dielectric stress, so the assembly tolerates transient cabinet potentials that can occur during switching operations. Internal auxiliary lines are dimensioned for a continuous load of 1.5 A, preventing excessive temperature rise when peripheral power is routed through the same sheath. The connector follows the DVI-D format, meaning differential TMDS pairs are routed without analog channels.
The signal lines operate at a nominal potential of 30 V, aligning with the extra-low-voltage class used in Beckhoff control hardware. The contact layout is an 18 + 1-pin arrangement, so mating devices must present the corresponding female receptacle for full digital bandwidth. An IP20 protection rating limits use to enclosures where dust ingress is controlled and liquids are absent. Mechanical retention is handled by a screw locking system that secures the plug against vibration common in servo-driven machinery.
