The C9900-P214 is a Beckhoff power-supply and distribution module in the C9 PC Accessories series. Designed for industrial PCs and operator panels, the unit converts a 24 V-class DC source into multiple regulated rails and supervisory signals so panel-mounted automation hardware receives stable power. By bundling primary conversion, fuse protection, and UPS handoff in a compact form, it supports Beckhoff Panel PCs up to 19 inches and simplifies cabinet wiring. Those supervisory signals also let the connected hardware respond to power loss with an orderly shutdown sequence.
This module accepts a nominal field supply through its screw terminals. The permissible input spans from 22 V DC to 30 V DC, allowing tolerance for battery-backed or rectified feeds. Under full load, it draws up to 15 A, and an internal input fuse rated at 16 A disconnects the source during overcurrent events. Total conversion capacity is 250 W, which is the simultaneous power available to all rails without derating. A front-side power-status output supplies 0.5 A for signaling contactors or diagnostics, while a dedicated shutdown circuit protects auxiliary wiring with an internal fuse.
The converted rails are distributed on dedicated pins. The positive 5 V line can source 14 A for logic, and the standby 5 V channel remains active at 1.5 A to maintain memory when the main bus is off. Two logic rails at 3.3 V and 12 V each provide 12 A for processors, while negative returns of 0.5 A at -12 V and 0.3 A at -5 V support legacy interfaces. For buffered shutdown, the integrated UPS path supplies 1.4 A at 27 V DC to external battery modules, and the outgoing path is protected by a 6.3 A shutdown fuse. This arrangement lets the module feed logic, standby, and legacy interface circuits from separate outputs instead of a single shared rail.
