The C9900-K623 cable set is produced by Beckhoff within the C9 PC Accessories series. It combines a digital video interface line and a SuperSpeed USB line into one accessory for Beckhoff PCs, simplifying panel mounting when displays and peripherals are located up to three meters from the control cabinet. By housing matched DVI and USB conductors in a single assembly, the product carries digital video signals to a remote monitor while also returning keyboard or data traffic needed for machine operation.
The DVI section of the assembly has a length of 3.00 m and an outer diameter of 7.3 mm, so it remains flexible while using a bend radius equal to ten times that diameter. A DVI-D male-to-male plug is fitted at each end, and its 18 + 1-pin contact layout supports single-link digital video transmission without the analog pins used by a DVI-I variant. Signal integrity is protected by a dielectric strength of 500 V, allowing the insulation to withstand transient cabinet voltages. During operation, the conductor set is rated for 1.5 A at up to 40 V AC, while the 30 V marking on the sheath indicates the nominal test voltage applied to the finished cable.
The second line in the bundle carries high-speed peripheral traffic. Its outer diameter of 5.5 mm encloses a 2×2×AWG28 twisted-pair differential link, an additional AWG28 pair for SuperSpeed return, and a 2×AWG24 power pair. Compliance with the USB 3.0 standard allows transfer rates of 5 Gb/s between the PC and field devices. One end terminates in a 9-pin USB A male plug, and the other terminates in a 9-pin USB B male plug, so the set can connect a Beckhoff panel USB port to an external hub or instrumentation enclosure. The USB conductors use 30 V insulation, matching the voltage class of the DVI portion and keeping the complete assembly suitable for low-voltage industrial control zones.
