The Bosch Rexroth SR Synchronous Servo Motors series is a family of permanently excited brushless synchronous servo motors designed for operation with the fully digital Servodyn-D inverter system.
The SR motors use a sinusoidal e.m.f. design and an integrated resolver for commutation, speed feedback, and position control, while also incorporating two NTC thermistors for motor temperature monitoring. The series is built in a compact flange-mounted construction with smooth aluminum housings, installation pockets along the motor length, plug-in power and feedback connections, and protection to IP67 except at the output side. Standard features include natural convection cooling, optional holding brakes, optional keyed shaft versions, an electronic rating plate for automatic inverter adaptation, and the ability to operate in IM B5, IM V1, or IM V3 mounting positions under the stated conditions. The SR series is intended for high-response industrial servo applications where compact motor dimensions, integrated resolver feedback, and compatibility with Servodyn-D drive electronics are required.
