Product Description:
The SR-A2.0020.060-14.000 synchronous servo motor is supplied by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the SR Synchronous Servo Motors series. Designed for servo drive systems, the motor converts commanded current into precise rotational motion for indexers, packaging lines, and light robotic joints. Its resolver feedback interface allows the associated drive to calculate position and velocity in real time for accurate closed-loop control. The integrated electromechanical brake supports applications that require the shaft to remain stationary after motor torque is disabled.
During continuous operation, the motor reaches a rated speed of 6000 rpm. Torque development follows the magnetic design, providing a torque constant of 0.74 Nm/A, so each ampere of phase current produces approximately three-quarters of a newton-meter at the shaft. With the brake released at standstill, the motor can sustain a holding torque of 3.2 Nm, while locked-rotor operation draws 2.7 A. The rotor and installed encoder have a combined inertia of 3 × 10⁻⁴ kg·m², which supports fast acceleration and helps limit overshoot during point-to-point motion. The resolver supplies position feedback for commutation and motion regulation. The shaft measures 14 × 30 mm, allowing direct connection to suitable gearboxes, pulleys, or couplings.
The electromechanical brake operates at 24 V DC and draws 0.56 A while holding the rotor. The encoder has a resolution of 8192 increments per revolution, providing fine feedback steps for position control and commutation at high shaft speeds. A square flange measuring 100 mm across supports accurate alignment with the machine mounting surface. The motor has an overall length of 217 mm with the brake installed, which should be considered when planning axial clearance. The assembly weighs 5.8 kg, making it suitable for vertical-axis installations without placing excessive load on supporting structures. A locked-rotor torque of 2.0 Nm supports controlled startup from standstill, while matched bearings provide stable shaft support during operation.
