Product Description:
The SR-B5.0250.030-10.000 synchronous servo motor is built by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the SR Synchronous Servo Motors series. It is intended for tightly coordinated rotary motion in production cells, conveying setups, and assembly stations, where the drive regulates shaft position and velocity under closed-loop control. The motor couples directly to a Rexroth inverter, and its resolver feedback keeps the magnetic field aligned with stator currents so that commanded torque is produced smoothly across the full operating range.
The connected inverter energizes the stator through a DC link of 670 VDC, supporting rapid current changes during acceleration. Under rated conditions, the rotor reaches 3000 rpm. If the shaft is prevented from turning, it can develop a locked-rotor torque of 23 Nm while drawing 16 A, which indicates the stall load the mechanical structure must withstand. Continuous torque production is proportional to the electromagnetic constant of 1.44 Nm/A, allowing the controller to predict output by monitoring phase current. Dynamic response is influenced by the combined rotor and encoder inertia of 83 × 10⁻⁴ kg·m², balancing load stiffness with settling time.
High-fidelity motion is supported by a resolver that delivers 8192 increments per revolution of position detail at a maintained accuracy of ±10 arcminutes, ensuring the drive corrects position errors before they propagate down the kinematic chain. The housing carries a sealing designation of IP67 except on the output side, so coolant spray and dust cannot penetrate the windings, while the plain 32 mm shaft simplifies coupling because it is supplied smooth rather than keyed. Two NTC temperature sensors report winding heat, and the 300 mm overall length provides a thermal path long enough for stable operation. With a mass of 24 kg, the motor provides the structural rigidity needed for overhead or gantry installations without adding excessive inertia to the axis.
