The S20 IndraControl Modules series is a modular IP20 control-cabinet I/O platform built around a station concept in which controllers or bus couplers form the head of the station and the remaining modules are added alongside on a shared local bus.
The series is designed to cover a broad range of automation tasks, including digital and analog signal handling, communication, temperature measurement, control functions, and position-related applications, with module variants identified by function, channel count, and connection style. In the provided S20 examples, digital input modules are available in versions such as 16-channel and 32-channel configurations for 24 VDC signals, with features including adjustable input filter times, fast update behavior, and compatibility with different sensor wiring technologies depending on the module. Mechanically, the system uses separate bus base modules, pluggable connectors, and snap-on electronics modules for DIN-rail installation, allowing modules to be replaced without removing field wiring from the connector assembly. Across the platform, the modules are intended for industrial cabinet installation, support 100 Mbps local bus communication, and are specified for conditions such as IP20 protection, non-condensing humidity, and operating temperatures extending up to 60°C.
