The S20-AI-8-UTH is a universal thermocouple input module with accurate and flexible temperature measurement on eight independent channels. For flexibility with different thermocouple types, such as B, E, J, K, N, R, S, and T, it provides wide compatibility where different sensor types are required within a single system.

Each channel accepts thermoelectric input signals within an input voltage range of -10 mV to +80 mV, depending on the thermocouple to which it is connected, to provide easy standard industrial temperature sensing. This module uses a standard sampling time of 50 milliseconds per channel. It is used for quick data capture for efficient thermal monitoring and control. The input and logic isolation is 500 VDC. It gives electrical isolation that guards output from noise, interference, and ground loop fault. This makes it highly appropriate for use in applications with long wires for sensors or environments with high electromagnetic disturbances. With a maximum current draw of 70 mA at 24 VDC, the module is power-efficient in consumption with high-precision thermal data. Its supported temperature operating range of 0°C to 55°C makes it operate in most standard industrial conditions without additional thermal protection.
