The Bosch Rexroth Indramat S20-EIP-BK is a powerful and small size remote I/O module intended to be installed in systems of industrial automation using EtherNet/IP.

Within the S20 IndraControl module family, this unit offers a consistent interface to distributed I/O, allowing real-time communication and I/O control on Ethernet networks. The module draws a max of only 2.5 watts at 24 VDC, making it an energy-efficient solution in control cabinets, and even at the machine level. The S20-EIP-BK has two RJ45 Ethernet connections that can freely be daisy-chained or used with flexible topology in the network. It can also support many industrial communication protocols such as Ethernet/IP and SNMP v1/v2c, HTTP, TFTP, FTP, BootP, and DHCP, which will provide broad compatibility with contemporary control systems. The module, available in a DIN rail mounting version, can fit into any ordinary control enclosure measuring 120 mm x 50 mm x 48 mm.

Each station can be expanded by up to 63 additional IndraControl S20 I/O modules independently in this module and scaled to meet special application requirements. Installation is fast and dependable because the terminals are push-in springs, locking wires without any need for a tool. The rating of unit protection is IP20, and this is why it is more applicable to install the unit in clean and closed control environments. The S20-EIP-BK is designed for the very high reliability operation temperature of -25°C to +55°C and can be stored under the temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. It is lightweight and physically strong, with a 177-gram weight including the connector and bus base module. It can be purchased at Wake Industrial with a one-year warranty.
