Product Description:

The S20-DIDO-8/1 is a connection module built by the Rexroth Bosch Group to be used in synchronous systems. The product serves as an input/output module with eight inputs and eight output interfaces. During operation, the product acquires digital signals and transmit them to a higher-level control unit for further processing. The filter times of this unit are flexible and can be adjusted between 100 microseconds, 1000 microseconds, and 3000 microseconds. It is the 100 microsecond filter time, the unit can function at a maximum input frequency of five kilohertz. The output interface on this product is protected against short circuiting and overload protection. The permissible air pressure level for this product during its operation is between 70 to 106 kilopascals, while the permissible humidity during operation is as high as 95 percent. The S20-DIDO-8/1 also has a total weight of 133 grams.

Each digital input on the S20-DIDO-8/1 uses the push-in connection technology with a 1-wire connection method and a nominal input voltage of 24 volts. The nominal input current of the module input is also about 2.4 milliamperes this value is also maintained for linear current flow. For the digital outputs, the nominal output voltage is also 24 volts while the maximum output current for each channel is estimated to be about 500 milliamperes. The connected load at the output unit can reach a peak value of 12 watts with a signal delay of 100 microseconds.

To protect the S20-DIDO-8/1 from overvoltage, the unit is automatically shut down at a current of 0.7 amperes, other electronic protections like short-circuit protection, are also provided at the output shaft. The radio interference properties of the S20-DIDO-8/1 belong to class B according to EN 55022.
