Product Description

VLT3516 is a frequency converter, developed by Danfoss and works in different environments. The product is available with a number of options and accessories which are necessary for proper functioning of the equipment. It features an inverter which functions to transform the DC voltage in variable AC voltage. It is available with variable frequency as well.

The product is available with mounting holes in its side flanges. It means that two units can be easily installed flange to flange. If there are frequency converters without the side flanges, the mounting holes need to be at the top and at the bottom as well. The product is suitable for floor installation only. This is why the products is available with its base and is supplied as a part of frequency converter.

The product has an improved cooling mechanism. It is cooled by air circulation. However, this air needs to be able to move freely just above and below the frequency converter to be able to reach out to various sections. Its important to have the convert installed on a plane surface for its smooth functioning. It will ensure that the airflow is in good contact with the heat sink which is from the bottom of converter.
