The Danfoss VLT FC 101 HVAC Basic Drives series is a family of variable frequency drives developed for basic HVAC duty, with built-in control functions for fans, pumps, and compressors.
The series is designed to reduce installation complexity and cabinet requirements by integrating harmonic mitigation functions and other HVAC-oriented features directly into the drive. Available supply classes include 3 x 200-240 V, 3 x 380-480 V, and 3 x 525-600 V versions, with power coverage from 0.25 kW up to 90 kW depending on voltage range. The platform supports both induction motors and permanent-magnet motors, and it is intended to simplify setup and operation through a compact design and a control panel with multilingual programming support. The FC 101 series is also positioned for energy-conscious HVAC and refrigeration systems through variable-speed control, built-in energy-optimization functions, and certification support for use with A2L refrigerants in applicable HVAC/R installations.
