Environmental protection is where this series really stands out from typical drives. Models through 100 HP get IP66/Type 4X enclosures, while the 125 HP and larger units use IP55/Type 3R ratings. The smaller drives can take direct pressure washing at 1000 PSI from 6 inches away - larger models handle the same pressure from 12 inches out. That's substantially more abuse than most industrial drives can survive. Every unit features an integrated braking resistor. Besides handling regenerative energy from high-inertia loads, it enables Arctic Mode operation down to -10°C. The resistor works as an internal heater, keeping electronics within operating temperature during cold startups. This eliminates external heating requirements for outdoor installations in harsh climates. The built-in PLC functionality varies between models.
