Sanyo Denki’s SANMOTION K servo motors are DC servo motors offered in 42 mm, 54 mm, 76 mm, and 88 mm square flange sizes with a rated output range from 23 W to 500 W.
The series includes both 24 VDC and 75 VDC classes, with the low-voltage 24 VDC versions available on the smaller frame sizes and the 75 VDC class covering the higher-output models. SANMOTION K motors are positioned for precision applications and are designed for smoother low-speed operation, with reduced cogging torque, lower power loss, improved efficiency, and lower noise compared with the earlier SANMOTION T DC servo motors. The series supports multiple motor configurations, including encoder-equipped versions, tachogenerator versions, and holding-brake variants, with incremental encoder options that include line-driver and open-collector output selections. Common characteristics include permanent-magnet excitation, continuous-duty operation, forward/reverse rotation capability, a fully enclosed IP43 construction, and ambient operating conditions specified for 0 to 40 °C.
