During continuous operation, the motor produces a mechanical output of 500 W. This output is achieved at a nominal shaft speed of 2500 rpm, where the electromagnetic system produces 1.91 N·m of torque. To reach this operating point, the drive must supply a phase current of 7.4 A against an armature back EMF that corresponds to a terminal voltage of 80 V. The torque constant is 0.286 N·m/A, linking the applied current to the resulting torque so the controller can produce the nominal torque without saturation.
