It is a permanent-magnet AC unit engineered to convert drive current into controlled rotary motion for positioning tables, indexing conveyors, and other servo-regulated mechanisms in industrial automation. When integrated with a matching amplifier, the motor enables closed-loop speed and torque control so multiple axes can be synchronized, repeatable cycle times can be maintained, and settling errors can be reduced during rapid start-and-stop sequences.
The winding draws a rated armature current of 1.1 A when the terminals receive an armature voltage of 75 V. Magnetic flux builds quickly because the electrical time constant is only 0.47 ms, allowing current to reach a steady state before mechanical motion becomes appreciable. The copper windings have a resistance of 9.4 Ω and an inductance of 4.4 mH.
