The KA730TXX is a DC servo motor manufactured by Sanyo Denki within the K SANMOTION Servo Motors series. It has a 76 mm square mounting flange and an overall length of 172.5 mm, giving it a compact form that fits mid-frame machine layouts. By converting electrical power into tightly regulated torque, the unit drives indexing tables, pick-and-place arms, and other axes that require precise motion control in automated production lines. Its compact housing allows it to fit machinery where installation space is limited. The mounting format also provides a stable interface for alignment with gearboxes, couplings, and driven equipment.
With a rated mechanical output of 300 W, the motor supplies usable power for light-to-medium-duty servo stages. During normal operation, it runs at 2500 rpm, providing suitable speed for indexing and positioning tasks. The corresponding rated torque of 1.15 N·m provides steady rotational force at the rated speed. The armature is energized by 75 V and draws 4.8 A at the rated operating point, permitting connection to a compatible servo amplifier.
