The FC-101P75KT4E20H3 is an AC variable frequency drive manufactured by Danfoss within the VLT FC 101 HVAC Basic Drives series. It converts fixed-frequency mains power into a regulated output that allows building management systems to vary fan or pump speed according to airflow, pressure, or water circulation requirements. Adjusting motor speed to match demand can reduce energy consumption compared with systems that rely on mechanical dampers or throttling valves. In industrial automation, the unit operates as the interface between the three-phase supply and the motor while supporting controlled acceleration, deceleration, and continuous speed regulation.
At the input, the drive accepts a line supply of 380 to 480 VAC, permitting direct connection to compatible low-voltage distribution panels without a step-up transformer. It is designed for three-phase input power, which supplies the inverter stage used to generate a variable-frequency motor output. The unit has a nominal motor power rating of 75 kW, providing the output capacity required by large HVAC blowers, cooling-tower fans, and chilled-water pumps.
