Product Description:

The Danfoss FC – 101P5 is a frequency-converter – VLT HVAC- Basic Drive - FC 101 section which offers a motor control solution in Heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) units of all types and sizes. This drive is rated at 15 kW (20 HP) which makes this drive suitable for medium to higher powered motor systems that are used for pumps, fans, compressors, and air handling units. Pumps, Fans, Compressors, Aero engines and Air handling units.

The drive is single unit as it operates on three phase power supply. Its mains supply voltage is between 380 – 480 VAC, hence it is useable with standard industrial and commercial power systems. This unit is EN 60529 classified IP20 therefore it offers limited protection against solid foreign objects, hence this device will need to be mounted in a clean and pollution free environment for proper functionality. The drive is also equipped with RFI class A1 (C2) filter. This further optimizes the high frequency electromagnetic emissions of the device and ensures compliance with EMC requirements.

The FC-101P5 is assembled using a higher grade of PCB which is protected by a coating which offers the drive extra protection from dust, moisture and other pollutants. In addition to the incredible build quality of the drive which is exceptionally durable and reliable in many environments this drives LCP local control panel this model has omitted it. LCP is not available for this model hence configuration will need to be done remotely or on an external interface. The unit has a net weight of 7.9 kg and a gross weight of 8.4 kg, the FC-101P5 has a net volume of 23.94 liters and since it is compact and lightweight, it is also easy to install in HVAC systems.
