The FC-101P2K2 is a Basic Drive designed by the internationally renowned and certified Danfoss Engineering Company. This drive was built as part of Danfoss commitment to the advancement of industrial automation processes and the provision of long-lasting solutions to basic automation control problems. In production and processing systems, this drive carries out a robust, flexible, and accurate operation of fans, pumps, and compressor systems. The drive can also support nearly all common motor technologies used in industrial applications. This includes copper rotor motors, permanent magnet excited motors, three-phase induction motors, and synchronous reluctance motors. The flexibility of this drive eliminates the need for a heterogenous system landscape in industrial systems since it allows plant operators to use the same operator interface, system interface, and extension and provide reliable technology. Spare parts management and maintenance are also simplified.
The installation of the FC-101P2K2 drive does not require the presence of qualified EMC personnel to achieve EMC compliance. The drive is the only one in its category to meet category C1 compliance. The heat generated in this drive during operation is dissipated efficiently through the heatsink present in its housing; this allows the drive to maintain an impressive operational efficiency at an ambient temperature of about 50 degrees Celsius.
