The 131L9901 is an AC variable-frequency drive manufactured by Danfoss for the VLT FC 101 HVAC Basic Drives series. The unit controls the speed of induction motors that power fans, pumps, and compressors in building systems. By varying motor speed, it allows airflow or water volume to follow real-time demand while reducing unnecessary energy consumption. This operating method is suitable for HVAC equipment that does not need to run continuously at full speed.
The inverter delivers 75 HP of mechanical output, corresponding to 55 kW of continuous power. It accepts a mains supply of 380 – 480 VAC through a three-phase network, eliminating the need for external phase conversion. The chassis has an IP20 chassis backplate, so the drive must be installed inside a suitable enclosure when dust or moisture is present. A DC link is provided, but the drive does not include an integrated brake chopper or safe-stop function. Options A, B, C0, C1, and D are not installed, and Adaptation B is not included, leaving the drive in its standard configuration.
