MTS Servo Control Modules (RECO-SPS ISP200-R family) are compact PLC units in an IP20 enclosure intended for installation in the ISP200 rack system, using an RMB02 base rack with expansion racks as needed.
Two primary module variants are described: the MTS-R01.1 occupies one rack slot, while the MTS-R02.1 occupies two slots and can be used either as a stand-alone PLC with its associated I/O or paired with an MTC-R controller as a combined CNC/PLC system. Programming and controller networking are handled through an RS-232/RS-485 programming interface, with direct addressing supported by assigning each unit a device number from 0 to 15. A second serial communications port (configurable as RS-232/RS-422/RS-485) is provided for peripherals such as printers, read/write storage devices, or visualization terminals. For system integration, the modules can be fitted with open fieldbus interfaces such as INTERBUS or PROFIBUS-DP, with INTERBUS supporting remote I/O stations up to 4096 inputs and 4096 outputs, and the MTS-R02.1 additionally supporting an optional serial interface module providing 2×RS-232 and 2×RS-422.
