The Bosch Rexroth MTS-P01.2-D2-B1-P1-S4-NN-FW is a PLC module. MTS modules are available in different configurations which differ in how connections are made from the serial and BT bus interfaces on the module to the PCI card installed on the PCI expansion slot on the module. The MTS-P01.2-D2-B1-P1-S4-NN-FW is mounted inside an industrial PC or operator terminal. Communication between the PLC module and the PC is achieved through the ISA bus of the PC which also delivers the power supply for the PLC card. Communication with the NC assembly is achieved through the Rexroth local bus. When the MTS-P01.2-D2-B1-P1-S4-NN-FW is mounted inside a BTV 20 / 30, the function keys on the machine are wired directly onto the PLC assembly. The MTS-P01.2-D2-B1-P1-S4-NN-FW comes with 16 TTL input and outputs which allow direct connection for operating keys of the BTV 20.

Serial interface on the MTS-P01.2-D2-B1-P1-S4-NN-FW supports RS 232 / 422 / 485. Parameters for the serial interface are set through programming. The BT bus on the module can be used to interface with up to four operator terminals such as BTA 20 and BTM 15 / 16. Maximum length of the cable which can be used for interfacing with operator terminals is 50 meters. Supply voltage for the PLC module can be +12 Volts DC, +5 Volts DC or -12 Volts DC. The MTS-P01.2-D2-B1-P1-S4-NN-FW can draw maximum 0.6 Amps at 5 Volts DC. The MTS-P01.2-D2-B1-P1-S4-NN-FW can be used in Class A industrial environments. Ambient temperature in the location where the MTS-P01.2-D2-B1-P1-S4-NN-FW is stored should be kept between -20 and 70 degrees Celsius. Condensation should not be allowed to form on the module under any circumstances as it could lead to module damage. This unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
