The MTS-P01.2-D2-NN-NN-NN-NN-FW assembly is a highly efficient PLC control in the Rexroth MTS servo control module series. Generally, MTS-P PLC controls consist of a PC/104 active interface and plug-in modules and a basic ISA-BUS unit. These plug-in modules include I/O modules, Fieldbus connections and serial interfaces. The serial interface on the MTS series is the RS232 type, and it is operated through the user program of the PLC. It makes provision for connection to read-write memory, visualization devices and a printer.

The MTS-P01.2-D2-NN-NN-NN-NN-FW comes with a BT bus that enables it to operate several operator terminals like BTA20, BTM15/16, etc. These terminal operations are achievable with the aid of a 50 meters cable length. The two operational modes of the MTS-P01.2-D2-NN-NN-NN-NN-FW PLC control are stand-alone and slave PLC mode. An optional Fieldbus connection or serial interface helps to establish communication with operating units or decentralized I/O units. The serial interface and Fieldbus connections on the MTS series are designed and designated as PC/104 modules. In general, the MTS-P01.2 series can operate about four (4) PC/104 modules.

The MTS-P01.2-D2-NN-NN-NN-NN-FW features a supply voltage of 5V and an admissible ripple content of 50 millivolts. This equipment belongs to class A, as per EN 55022, and must only be operated in industrial areas to prevent radio interference. The storage temperature of the MTS-P01.2-D2-NN-NN-NN-NN-FW is within -20 to 70 degrees Celsius, and its operating air temperature is between 0 – 50 ^oC. Its temperature class is KV, as per DIN 40 040. Some of the optional interfaces on the MTS-P PLC control include the PROFIBUS-DP with 9 pins, INTERBUS female connector, 2 x RS232 and 2 x RS422/485.
