The Rexroth Indramat MTS-R02.2-M2-NN-NN-NN-FW is a SPC with 2 MB RAM. The three options slots on the system are empty and can be used for installation of optional modules such as Interbus master module, serial interface module, Profibus-DP master module and Profibus-DP slave module. The MTS-R02.2-M2-NN-NN-NN-FW comes in RECO form factor. Housing of the system has environmental protection rating of IP20 and measures 83.7 192 x 159 millimeters. The system is designed for nominal 24 Volts DC input and can operate with input voltages ranging from 18 to 28 Volts DC including ripple content. Minimum current consumption of the module is 0.7 Amps and can go up to maximum 2.6 Amps with option modules installed. The MTS-R02.2-M2-NN-NN-NN-FW is classed as Class A industrial equipment according to EN 55022. The system firmware must be ordered as a separate subitem.

The MTS-R02.2-M2-NN-NN-NN-FW comes with several built-in interfaces including a serial programming interface and general serial interface both of which support RS-232/422/485 protocols and have 9-pin connectors. The serial programming interface is used for system configuration. SPC software on a connected PC can be used to program and configure the MTS-R02.2-M2-NN-NN-NN-FW. The general serial port can be used for connecting to a printer, a read / write memory device or operator terminal such as BTV04/05. Recommended environmental specifications for the system include 32 to 122 degrees Fahrenheit working temperature, -13 to 158 degrees Fahrenheit storage temperature, 0 to 75% operating relative humidity and 0 to 95% storage relative humidity. Installation of the MTS-R02.2-M2-NN-NN-NN-FW system must be performed by trained personnel and in accordance with guidelines provided in the documentation which accompanies the system.
