Product Description
The MTS-P01.1-M2-B1-E1-NN-NN-FW module offered by Bosch Rexroth is one of the many SPS modules in the MTS series. This product supports configuration as a master SPS. The module can be fitted with up to four PC104 plug-in modules at a time. The device encompasses an INTERBUS master module and an Input/Output module for the integrated control panel. The communication with a computer or an NC module takes place through a bus connection. The unit communicates internally with a PC via the standard ISA bus of the computer. This bus also helps in routing the power supply of the unit. The industrial PC in which the module is fitted encompasses extra machine function keys on the left side.
The user-specific data stored in the SPS module may get lost if the module is stored without use for over six months. This can have an adverse effect on the SPS user program. If the completely discharged battery of the product is charged for one hour, it offers a backup time of close to 100 hours. The device occupies three slots in a PC. The one-digit “b” code on the H1 display of the unit indicates that the SPS is running. It must be secured against getting loose from the industrial PC due to shock or vibration by using a cross-rail.
The RDY light of the device gets illuminated in yellow color if the self-test of the turned ON DPS01 board or DPM board is successful. The unit encompasses an X5 watchdog contact with a maximum voltage rating of 24V and a maximum current rating of 150mA. The module must always be commissioned before its installation is done. The three-digit “052” code indicates an invalid SPS program while the “071” code represents a low SPS operating voltage. The SPS module is shipped through worldwide recognized logistics partners and has a one-year warranty tag.
