The MTS-P01.2-D2-S4-NN-NN-NN-FW model is an efficient SPC control in ISA-bus plug-in card format, intended for being fitted in a BTV20/30 or in a commercially available industrial PC. The MTS-P control is equipped with four serial interfaces (2 x RS232 and 2 x RS422/485). The serial interfaces permit several SPS controllers to be interconnected in a network or a PC be connected. These interfaces also provide a connection for a printer, a read/write storage unit, or a visualization unit. The MTS-P control occupies one module location in the RMB02.2 rack and the communication between the modules is carried out with the help of a local bus. The 16 TTL inputs and outputs of the model are used for connecting machine function keys and keys switches of the BTV20. Fieldbus connection and serial interfaces are used for effective communication between the control and other input/output devices. The error can be diagnosed by using the seven-segment H1 display. The error code represents the type of error.

The model MTS-P01.2-D2-S4-NN-NN-NN-FW should only be used according to the instructions, to avoid any damage. Before commissioning, MTS-P must be programmed so that the SPC executes the application-specific functions. The model can be used for mounting systems, machine tools, food machines, and paper processing machines. A single MTS-P control can operate up to 4 PC/104 modules. The ambient temperature range on which the model can operate without derating is 0 to +50 degree Celsius and the enclosure of the model is protected by IP 20 protection standard.
