The Bosch Rexroth MTS-P02.2-D4-B1-P1-S4-NN-FW is a PLC module which is available in ISA card form factor. It is designed for installation inside industrial computers. The MTS-P02.2 cards are available in different configurations for different customer requirements. Communication between the MTS-P02.2-D4-B1-P1-S4-NN-FW and the computer in which it is installed takes place via the ISA bus. The ISB bus also provides DC power to the module. A range of DC voltages can be used to power the module including 5 Volts DC and 12 Volts DC. The maximum current drawn by the MTS-P02.2-D4-B1-P1-S4-NN-FW is 1.8 Amps. The PLC module weighs 0.3 kilograms and measures approximately 22 x 145 x 295 millimeters. Interference emitted by the module complies with EN 55022. Noise immunity of the module is according to IEC 1000-4-4 / IEC 1000-4-2.

Integrated communication interfaces on the MTS-P02.2-D4-B1-P1-S4-NN-FW include serial interface and BT bus. The serial interface is software configurable and supports RS 422 / RS 485 / RS 232 protocols. The BT bus is used for interfacing with operator terminals over 50 meters of cable. Both the BT bus and the serial interface come with a D-SUB female connector: the srial interface has 15 pins and the BT bus has 9 pins. I/Os are also supported on the MTS-P02.2-D4-B1-P1-S4-NN-FW and include 16 TTL inputs and 16 TTL outputs. These TTL I/Os can be used to connect to machine function keys and BTV 20 key switches. The MTS-P02.2-D4-B1-P1-S4-NN-FW is a convection cooled device and requires 0 to 50 degrees Celsius operating temperature. If the module is being stored, then it should be kept in an area where it will be protected from vibrations and where the ambient temperature is kept between -25 to 70 degrees Celsius.
