The MTS-P02.2-D2-B1-P1-S4-NN-FW model is intended to be installed in an industrial PC or in a BTV20/30 by Rexroth Indramat. The MTS-P02.2 control can be used as a standalone SPC, matching control for MTC200, and matching control for MTA200. The model is designed to take power from the +5 to +12 V voltage source with 50 – 120 mV permissible ripples. The total power consumption of the model is 4.3 A including the 2.5 A of current consumption by I/O modules. The errors/faults can be diagnosed through the 7-segment H1 display which is located at the front of the unit. The enclosure comes in IP 20 rating which provides protection against 12.5 mm dust particles but it is not protected against liquids. The MTS-P02.2 control occupies two module locations in the RMB rack and up to 4 RMB02.2 racks can be installed side-by-side. The communication between the modules is carried out with the help of a local bus. The unit is equipped with an SPC module and the firmware of the SPC is stored in a Flash EPROM.
The model MTS-P02.2-D2-B1-P1-S4-NN-FW is also equipped with an INTERBUS module which can be used to provide a connection to the sensors, actuators, and intelligent field devices. It also permits bridging of distances of up to 12.8 km. A PROFIBUS interface is also installed in this model for developing effective communication between the control and other I/O units. Two serial interfaces (RS232 and RS422/485) are also installed in this model for general use. The firmware for this model (MTS-P02.2-D2-B1-P1-S4-NN-FW) should be ordered separately. This unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
