The HNF mains filter series is designed to reduce conducted interference and mains pollution so drive systems can meet applicable EMC emission limits for industrial environments, including compliance targets aligned with EN 61800-3 Class A requirements.
These filters are coordinated for use with three-phase drive controllers up to 480 VAC and are scaled by continuous current and application scope, including variants sized for different numbers of axes and total motor cable length. HNF filter variants are available for feeding supply systems and for regenerative supply systems, and they are specified with defined connection voltage ranges, rated current classes, and enclosure/protection versions depending on type. Installation is intended for control cabinets, with EMC-compliant grounding and shielded motor cables required to achieve the specified limit values, and the filters must be mounted in the allowed orientation with clearance for natural convection cooling.
