The HNF01.2D-F240-E0125-A-480-NNNN is a mains filter installed between a plant’s three-phase supply and a group of drive controllers. As a passive line component, it reduces conducted electromagnetic interference and helps keep leakage current within acceptable limits. It is used in multi-axis automation lines, where it helps complete drive packages meet industrial EMC requirements under normal factory conditions. This placement helps isolate switching noise before it spreads back into the incoming supply network. It also supports stable operation of adjacent controls, communication wiring, and other sensitive electrical equipment in the same cabinet row.

It accepts a mains connection of 3 × AC 400–480 V with a tolerance of -15%/+10% at 50/60 Hz. The unit supports up to 6 axes on a common DC bus, and the total motor cable length may reach 240 m before additional suppression is required. Rated as C2 under DIN EN 61800-3 for an extended frequency range, it reduces differential-mode and common-mode noise so nearby instrumentation can meet Class B emission limits. The housing has an IP20 rating, so live parts are finger-safe inside a closed cabinet. The filter is intended only for feeding devices and is wired ahead of HCS or IndraDrive converters so regenerative energy and switching harmonics return through a single point. Bosch Rexroth Indramat mounts the coil-capacitor assembly on a backplane so cabinet airflow can keep copper temperature within limits during continuous duty. The unit has no integrated fans, so cooling depends on the cabinet airflow rather than local forced ventilation. The code element 01 marks the production series generation.
