It is intended for supply systems that use regenerative devices only, where the module is installed on the line side of a common DC bus to suppress conducted interference while allowing controlled return of braking energy. In multi-axis cabinets, this arrangement helps limit noise from several connected inverters at the same supply entry point. The filter is assigned to internal series 01 and design version 1.

The filter is rated for a continuous line current of 26 A, so the connected supply path and protective hardware must support that steady electrical load. During operation, it dissipates up to 73 W as heat, which should be considered when cabinet airflow is planned. Its EMC class is C3 under DIN EN 61800-3, which makes it suitable for industrial installations rather than direct connection to public low-voltage networks. The housing has a depth of 262 mm and a width of 100 mm, allowing it to fit beside drive components without taking excessive space in standard enclosures.
