By suppressing line-borne disturbances and reducing harmonic energy returned to the grid, the unit helps protect sensitive drive electronics and supports electromagnetic compatibility in multi-axis machines. This placement also helps keep electrical noise from spreading through the drive system when several axes operate at the same time.
